I’m just a girl in her early twenties who loves to talk, write, and take pictures, which is how this blog was born.
I finished my undergrad degree in business management in early 2019, but realized my true passion is marketing.
Which is why I decided to take the leap and get a masters degree. The only catch? It happened to be halfway across the world.
I made my way to the UK, with coffee in one hand and my camera in the other, ready to record my adventures.
So get comfy and have a look through my posts! I talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly about life in the city.
THE LONGER STORY
Hey! My name is Arshelski, and if you’re reading this, chances are you really want to get to know me since the little “basics” section above didn’t do it for you. I totally get that – I love learning all about people before I read their blog, too. But for starters, thank you for taking the time to look around my website. 🙂
Since I was little, I’d always been a talker. I used to spend my days spewing tales to anyone who would listen about girls falling in love and seeing the world. When people would get sick of my jabbering, I’d write in journals instead because the words just wouldn’t stop coming. As life went on, I found myself being more interested in writing non-fictional pieces about things I’ve experienced, stories my friends have told me, advice my parents gave me, and so on. I realized that as fun as living in your own bubble can be, sometimes it’s even more rewarding to get out there, live a fairytale, and then tell people about it. This is why I decided to start blogging.
I’m not saying my life is anything like a fairytale – far from it. I go through all the trails and tribulations that any other girl does; from trying to establish a career, to figuring out how to be a better person, to even the small stuff, like deciding what movie or TV show to watch next. But I do believe in words. You never know who might be going through the same situation as you, and blogging has given me a voice that might reach someone out there who just needs a friend.
So that’s all I really hope for; to make sure that anybody who stumbles across my blog feels a little bit less lonely.
