It is a chilly Friday evening in early October as I sit on my window pane and type away to the sound of cars driving by twelve storeys below. The air is crisp, and the feeling of autumn is slowly settling upon the city as my fellow Londoners replace their sunglasses for scarves and their sandals for boots.
But first, I should introduce myself. I’m Arshelski, a girl in her early twenties who moved to England twenty days ago to pursue a master’s degree in marketing. Having spent the past week with my head buried in books, my creative side felt a little neglected, so I decided to spend an hour or two setting this baby up. And now, I couldn’t be prouder to call it my own little space on the internet.
I’ve always enjoyed blogging, but now I want to start taking it more seriously, and treat it more like a project that I actually invest effort into rather than a hobby I partake in once every few weeks. I want to use this website to talk about life as a student in London; the good, the bad, the ugly. I want to share the places I go to, the photographs I take, the people I meet, the stories I hear. I want this website to encompass the entirety of my experience in the city, whether that happens to be until the end of my year of studying, or until I marry a British guy for citizenship (just kidding!).
So if you’re a fan of distasteful jokes, cats, rants about public transport, and the city of London, make sure you bookmark this website and follow me on my socials (linked below). I’m so excited to share my life with you all!
