One of the harder things about studying abroad is that you never really get time alone with your thoughts. Usually, you’re always with people, and in the off chance that you’re by yourself, you’re probably busy studying. This is why I wanted to make it a point to start something called an “Arshelski Date”, which is a day I take completely to myself. I turn off my phone, pick a place to explore, and spend time with myself.
The first of what I hope will be many dates started at the British Museum. I had been once before with my family when we visited London, but I wanted to go by myself. History is something that interests me, and I wanted to immerse myself in all the different cultures the museum has to offer. Here are some photographs from my experience!
